Sire „Johnson“ was KWPN-winner stallion in 2005 and finalist at the world championship of young dressage horses in 2007, actually he competes very successfully at international advanced level ridden by Hans Peter Minderhound. The dam line is one of the most famous Oldenburg dam lines: dam is full sister to the St.Pr. St. „Cariana“, dam of the Oldenburg winner stallion 2012 „Follow Me“ by „Fürstenball“ and of „San Piave“ by „Sunny Boy“ another licensed stallion. „Cariana“ is also the dam of 3 state premium mares by „Florencio“, „Sandro Hit“ and „Fidertanz“.
„James“ dam is also the full sister to the brilliantring mare „Clara“ by „Donnerschwee“, who is the dam of „Chantal“ by „San Amour“ – a state premium mare and of „Socrates“ by „Sir Donnerhall“ a very successful dressage horse. The grand dam is dam of the international Grand Prix stallion „Donnerball“ by „Donnerhall“. A full sister of the grand dam is dam of the premium stallion „Ramoneuer“ by „Rohdiamant“, who competes at Grand Prix level.
James shows 3 superb basic gaits all of them very elastic. The full power comes out of the hind quarters. He really shows off at higher levels than German L/M, as his qualities are the lessons where the hind quarters have to take on all the weight. During work he is very attentive and long lasting, has a lot of stamina, good work ethics and is ambitious. He is a horse for a sensible professional rider, as „James“ might be stubborn sometimes and shows a big character – all in a friendly and positive manner.
He is trained actually by Ausbildungs-Stall Christian Flamm and his team.
