His dam „Weltwunder“was federal winner mare in 1986 and brought along a first class genetic. Three full brothers of Donnerschwee : „Deutscher Orden“, „Dr. Lobo“ and „D.J. Own performance

Out of his first foal crop, when Donnerschwee only covered 9 mares, we have the premium stallion „D-Day“ and 3 state premium mares – one of them  „Weissera“, regional championess in  1996 and 3rd at the federal championship of the 4 year old dressage horses.

„Dona di Mondo“ (by „Donnerschwee“) is proclaimed reserve winner mare at the elite mare show in Rastede – and ambassadress at the European mare championship in Brussels.

A daughter of „Donnerschwee“ was sold at the  Klosterhof Medingen Auktion by Burkhard Wahler at the price of 100.000 Euro to Westphalia, this mare  did qualify just before for the federal championship of the 5 year old with a score of 8.7 points.

The most expensive horse at the spring auction in Vechta is the stallion „Duino“ sold for 240.000 €, in the following autumn this stallion wins the federal championship of the 3 year old stallions and stands for stud at the famous Sprehe Stud.

  • Next to this horses, „Donnerschwee“ sired many successful dressage horses, which gave him a high index in the breeding validation of the hanoveranian stallions, where he is highly placed.

In march 2013 „Dances with Wolves“ ridden by Carl Hester does win the Grand Prix Special and an Interdiaire II in Vidauban. They also got another silver ribbon in a second Grand Prix Special.

Unfortunately  „Donnerschwee“ could not enjoy his old age at home at the „Mecklenburgischen Seenplatte“, in march 2006 we had to sacrifice him due to a bad heart condition in combination with a colic.
